The Singapore School of Management(SIM University) was established on November 28, 1964, and is a higher education institution with the mission of cultivating human resources in Singapore. The Singapore School of Management (SIM) is a leading local human resources training, professional business management, financial management, and global international education institution established by the Singapore government. For over 50 years, the Singapore School of Management has made great contributions to the development of human resources in Singapore. The college has rich experience in offering continuing education courses for in-service personnel. Therefore, in 1992, it was commissioned and approved by the Singapore Ministry of Education to establish an International University Degree Program (OUDP). In 2002, when the Singapore School of Management was recognized by British universities, the UK University Degree Program (OUDP) was renamed as the Singapore School of Management International University Center (SIM-OUC). In 2009, the London School of Economics, the University of Birmingham, the State University of New York in Buffalo, and the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in Australia successively established direct campuses in Singapore. The Singapore School of Management has started accepting outstanding international students from all over the world to study and further their studies in Singapore, completing undergraduate and master's degrees from well-known universities in the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, and other countries. Even outstanding undergraduate graduates can directly go from Singapore to the top 100 universities in the world, such as the United Kingdom, the United States, and Australia, to further their master's degree after graduation. The Singapore School of Management has established direct campuses to provide a wide range of high-quality academic courses through academic cooperation with renowned universities and colleges in countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Switzerland. In 2016, the college provided over 50 academic courses to over 14000 registered students, including various graduate, undergraduate, degree, and certificate level courses. In 2005, the Ministry of Education of Singapore approved the establishment of Singapore Siu Yue University. The sixth public university in Singapore was officially established in April 2017, Singapore's New Leap University of Social Sciences. The headquarters of the college is located at 461 Jinwentai Road. The two centers of the college are the Singapore Management Institute Management Building (SIM MH) located at 41 South Lee Road and the Jin Wentai Center located at 535A Jin Wentai Road. The total area of the three centers is close to 52000 square meters.
