To obtain a college diploma, there are three ways to obtain it: self-study exam, adult college entrance examination, and open university. The speed of obtaining the certificate is: self-study exam>open university>adult college entrance examination.

Self study examination: there is no pre qualification, registered residence registration, age and other requirements for the application, nor is there any regulation on the educational system. You can apply for graduation after completing the examination required by the specialty, and you can complete the examination in 1.5 years at the earliest.

Adult college entrance examination: Applicants must have a high school or vocational school diploma, with a duration of 2.5 years, similar to the regular college entrance examination. They need to take the entrance examination and be admitted according to their ranking. After admission, they must complete course assignments and final exams within the prescribed period of study, and complete the required credits to graduate.

Open University: Applicants must have a high school or vocational school degree, with a duration of 2.5 years and no entrance exams. Online learning is the main mode of study, with coursework and final exams. Upon completion of coursework and final exams, students can graduate with full credits.

The education obtained through the three methods is recognized by the state and can be checked for life on the China Academic Degrees and Graduate Education Foundation. Candidates can decide which promotion method to choose based on their own situation.
