PMP is a project management professional qualification certification initiated by the Project Management Institute (PMI), which rigorously evaluates whether project management personnel have high-quality knowledge and skills through a qualification certification exam.

PMP certified personnel can be found in almost all countries around the world to manage projects. Unlike other certifications that focus on specific regions or industries, PMP is a truly global certification that is not limited to a certain project management methodology, industry or region.

In order to implement the talent development plan of the 11th Five Year Plan for central enterprises, vigorously promote the strategy of strengthening enterprises with talents, and cultivate a group of large companies and enterprise groups with international competitiveness, the State owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council and the Foreign Experts Bureau jointly launched the "Central Enterprise Internationalization High Skill Talent Vocational Qualification Certification Training", which includes five projects including the International Project Management Professional Qualification (PMP).
